The project’s purpose went beyond publishing videos: it used a network of company accounts on Douyin and WeChat Channels to turn specialist equipment, production applications and regional search terms into content that prospective customers could find, enquire about and act on.

RAY STUDIO developed the account strategy around industrial equipment, regional search and lead generation through short-form video. Topics covered product functions, process applications, manufacturing capabilities, local supplier searches and specialist long-tail keywords. Distribution across multiple accounts broadened search coverage, helping potential buyers discover the company when researching relevant equipment on Douyin and WeChat Channels.

At the time of the project review, the programme covered 10 accounts: 7 on Douyin and 3 on WeChat Channels. It had published 14,860 pieces of content, generating 28,829,313 views, 12,752 interactions and 2,612 customer leads. In industrial equipment, where purchases are infrequent, high-value and dependent on trust, sustained visibility and a long-term search presence matter more than a single viral video.

Keyword optimisation covered 6,005 target terms and 190,842 ranking entries, including 165,354 in the top 10, 179,230 in the top 20 and 190,842 in the top 30. Coverage included regional and product searches such as “custom medium-frequency furnace,” “melting furnace manufacturer,” “quenching equipment manufacturer” and “forging furnace manufacturer,” creating more consistent organic search entry points.

This case shows that managed short-form video services involve more than filming and editing. Account positioning, recurring topic planning, ongoing production, multi-account publishing, keyword optimisation and performance reviews form a long-term content operation.
