Project need

Event video, aerial footage and live photo coverage for Denza’s Nankunshan driving tour along Huizhou’s 218 scenic road.

Denza’s “Lingnan 218: A Day on Electric Power” driving tour took place around Nankunshan and along Huizhou’s 218 scenic road. RAY STUDIO participated in filming the event, recording the convoy, route environment, vehicles and participant group photographs for event video and live photo coverage.

The subjects of an automotive driving event are constantly moving. The route, convoy formation and stops along the way all contribute to the story. Production needs to connect an overview of the event with vehicle footage and participant coverage without disrupting the itinerary.

Mountain roads and successive bends were defining features of the route. Aerial footage showed the convoy’s position and movement from above, allowing viewers to see the vehicles, road alignment and natural setting together.

The aerial perspective shows the touring convoy and its surroundings along Huizhou’s 218 scenic road.

On more open stretches, aerial views continued to document the length of the convoy and the surrounding landscape. These shots gave the edit and event communication material that clearly established both location and journey.

Completing the story through the convoy and route stops

Alongside overall convoy views, live photography covered vehicle close-ups, changes in formation, road signs and stops. Each type of image carried different information: wide shots established scale and surroundings, closer views showed the vehicles, and photographs at key stops explained the route.

Group photographs documented participants and key moments. Together with the driving footage, they formed a collection covering the departure, the journey and shared memories of the event.

Plan coordination before filming a moving automotive event

Driving tours, road events and test drives usually involve several camera positions and a moving schedule. Preparations need to confirm the route, permitted filming areas, meeting points, convoy pace, aerial filming conditions, file-transfer arrangements and safety boundaries. On site, fixed positions, moving cameras and live-photo selection and publishing need to work together.

This case records only the event name, location, filming content and public photographs confirmed by the user. It does not add unconfirmed vehicle specifications, vehicle counts, event dates, viewing figures or communication results.
